To address these challenges, ConsulMinds Technologies proposed an architecture based on serverless technologies provided by AWS (Amazon Web Services). The data pipeline was designed to process multiple types of data sources with varying frequencies, such as web click data arriving every hour or transactional data coming in daily.
The solution involved using AWS S3 buckets for landing zones and leveraging S3 events to trigger data processing via AWS Lambda functions and Amazon EMR (Apace Spark). This allowed the platform to scale efficiently without requiring additional infrastructure management. The data was then stored in an AWS Redshift database, which provided a cost-effective solution for large-scale analytics while maintaining high performance.
To generate actionable insights on customer segments, another spark job was triggered that took the values from the aggregated database and used the model to provide targeted marketing advice. This enabled businesses to make informed decisions about their marketing strategies based on data-driven insights.
The platform’s ability to integrate with various third-party platforms made it a comprehensive solution for businesses looking to improve their understanding of customer behavior and enhance their marketing efforts. The use of serverless technologies ensured cost-effectiveness, scalability, and high levels of security and reliability.
